The full specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy S5 have been leaked online ahead of an official MWC 2014 unveiling later today, February 24.
Technology website Pocket-Lint published the official specs and features of the Galaxy S5 earlier today and we managed to spot it before the story was hastily removed.
The information published revealed the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button, similar to the way Apple has done with the Touch ID sensor in the iPhone 5S.
Apparently you'll need to swipe your fingerprint eight times on the scanner before the S5 will memorise your digits, but the device is capable of storing up to three fingerprints at any one time.
The fingerprint scanner can be used to authorise payments with PayPal too, if you're a frequent eBayer. Once you've selected PayPal as your payment method, all you'll need to do is swipe your digit to make a payment.
Samsung has also equipped the Galaxy S5 with S Health 3.0 and has in-built a heart rate monitor as well as a pedometer into its first 2014 flagship.
Located on the rear of the device, the heart rate monitor scans your index finger and provides an accurate readout of your heart rate after holding your finger on it for a few seconds.
The Galaxy S5's camera has also been updated to a 16-megapixel resolution sensor, which offers auto focusing of 0.3-seconds and a new Selective Focus mode. This allows you to shoot a photography and then change the focal point later, similar to the software tech within devices like the Nokia Lumia 1020.
HDR Live has also been added and allows you to balance the light and dark portions of your photographs.
The Galaxy S5 can also record 4K 3840 x 2160p resolution videos as well, and comes with microSD support for storing all the hi-resolution clips you take.
Samsung has added a Download Booster feature that downloads large files using Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity simultaneously.
Of course, Samsung's latest flagship runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and the UI has been updated to match.
Running on the S5's Super Amoled 5-inch 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution display, the icons have been rounded and smoothed for a better user experience.
A swipe to the left of the homescreen offers access to Samsung's My Magazine page.
The Galaxy S5 also comes with IP67 dust resistance and water resistance, and still only has a plastic body.
